Visited abroad more than 25 times to present invited papers/key note invited papers, to chair technical sessions in the International workshops/Conferences, participation in bilateral project review meetings, member/head of Indian delegations, country representative in F AO meetings etc. Most significant ones are:

- Member, International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID) Working Group on Sustainable Drainage since 2004
- Attended Twenty-second Session of the Committee on Agriculture” organized by F AO, Rome, Italy from 16-19 June, 2010
- Head of Indian Delegation for participation in the 30th F AO Regional Conference for Asia and Pacific held at Gyeongju, Republic of Korea during 25th Sept., to 2nd Oct., 2010. Drafted proceedings as Rapporteur of this conference
- Head of Indian Delegation for visit to Manila, Philippines
- Head of Indian Delegation for visit to CIMMYT, Mexico
- Head of Indian Delegation for participation in senior officers meeting of BRICS countries in China.
