SEVENTH FOUNDATION DAY
Celebration of Seventh Foundation Day & Kisaan Vigyan Mela at GSFred, Karnal on 3rd March, 2025
Seventh Foundation Day and a Kisan Vigyan Mela was organised on 3rd March, 2025 at Gurbachan Singh Foundation Research Centre, Karnal. Dr Gurdev Khush, world renowned rice scientist and recipient of World Food Prize Laureate inagurated the function as chief guest. Dr S. K. Malhotra, Vice Chancellor, Maharana Pratap University of Horticulture and Technology delivered the Foundation Day lecture. Dr M L Madan, former DDG, ICAR and Dr P Sheoran, Director, ATARI, Ludhiana participated as guests of honour. Glimpses of the function are shared below.
