Participated in a Seminar on Globalization of Panjab Foods and Promoting Nutritional Security held in Toranto, Canada on August 15, 2026 and delivered a special lecture. The Seminar was Sponsored by Shri Jarnail Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, Global Food Choices and Coordinated by Shri Sohan Singh Dhindsa. A high level Delegation from Panjab including Dr Bal Mukand Sharma, Chairman, Food Commission, Panjab and Dr Kanchan Sharma, Chair Person, Trade Promotion Council of Panjab also participated as Keynote Speakers. Honourable Madam, Nina Tangri, Associate Minister, Small Business, Ontario, Participated as Guest of Honour and Delivered a Special Lecture . More than 100 noted delegates from food industry, related businesses and Progressive Entrepreneurs attended the Seminar. Challenges and Opportunities for Collaboration between Panjab and Canada in Agriculture, Food, Nutrition and Farmers Welfare were discussed in this one day Seminar.
